eventremarks	Adults are always present at this garden of swamp milkweed. I followed the progression of the eggs for several days. All hatched, but the caterpillars eventually disappeared after 1 day. I think they were caught by predators, since evidence of their presence on these plants and surrounding ones like holes had ceased appearing even several days after. This garden is infested by oleander aphids and is also home to many ladybugs and milkweed bugs. Wasps and snails also frequently hang around.
