eventremarks	This area was estimated to have 200 or more back in 2016 but has not been allowed to flower of go to seed since then (City mows the area down. However for a several months a group of us have been working with the person in charge of mowing and the hope is that it will be left alone not just for monarchs but everything else that needs natural areas (at this point it has not been mowed this year yet) Hopefully this will give the Common Milkweed a chance to grow and spread.
