eventremarks	We have a small patch of milkweed near our barn. We can see the milkweed from the windows of the house which overlook the patch. We have seen three adults, one of which was just out and practicing the airing of her wings as she prepared to fly. So far we have seen only one chrysalis which has been hanging in place for a week. [Question: how long do they hang before opening and releasing the butterfly.] The three caterpillars are about 1.5 inches long.
