eventremarks	This has been an off year for monarchs have only seen 7 or 8 adults and 5 eggs that were never seen again ditto for a tiny caterpillar. I am not alone in this as most 'Monarch Watchers' I know have experienced the same lack of monarchs. Tussock moth caterpillars seemed to do well this year and for someone that welcomes all native insects etc. it was difficult to see the milkweed being devoured by those tiny little fur balls and no monarchs to speak of...
