eventremarks	There is dwarf milkweed at this location as well, but I dont know which one it is on your list. This is the area I mentioned in my emails which belongs to the Dept of National Defence. So far this year they haven't mowed it, but it is only a matter of time. The milkweed has spread a great deal this year. This entire plot of land is a meadow of wildflowers and grasses. The 2 adult monarchs I saw Sunday July 9th /23 were feeding on blooming thistle plants. It would the perfect piece of land to set aside as a Monarch Habitat Conservation area. I dont want to give up on this area. I only witnessed 2 monarchs in the time I was there that day and only 2 almost full grown caterpillars, but I am convinced that there would be more if I searched each and every plant. It is not quite a football field but close to it.
